Last year we traveled during most of the month of December. We were home on Christmas day but we opted for a small artificial tree. So this year was our first year to get a real tree in Kansas City. We're so used to trekking up the hill at the tree farm about 10 minutes from downtown in our former community of Mansfield, Pennsylvania to cut our own tree for about $15-20. After a little searching and the poor reviews from some friends who found "tree farms" here in KC, we opted to pick one up at Lowes. John took Taylor and Isabelle the other night to pick the tree. I think they did a magnificent job.
Elia's first Christmas is a joy to us all. She was shaking with delight as John lugged the tree into the living room and we righted it into its stand. We loving watching her experiencing all of her firsts!
Now If I could just figure out how to get a good photo of my tree! Any tips?
